Overview

In Biology I you learned simple mechanisms by which genes are passed from parents to offspring. You also studied concepts of microevolution such as mutations and how these changes in DNA can lead to the development of adaptations in a population. In this unit you will be studying some of the various mechanisms of microevolution and how these changes can affect gene frequencies in a population.
